Coronavirus (COVID-19) Notice

The Government has recently advised the public to stay at home, and for dentists to avoid aerosol-generating treatments. In practical terms, this is most of the things that we would do. In view of this, we are cancelling all routine check-up and treatment appointments for the foreseeable future.

We are operating on an emergency-only basis on weekday mornings. Without high-protection PPE, this does put our staff and patients at some degree of risk.

If you have an urgent need for treatment and no-one in your household is symptomatic, please call 01784 253140 as early as possible in the morning for us to triage you and offer advice or an appointment if necessary.

Dental Nurse

A dental nurse assists in the surgery while the dentist is treating a patient, ensuring that the patient is as comfortable as possible. She also is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness in the surgery and sterilisation of instruments after use to prevent cross-infection between patients.

Susan Eves

Sue has been working as a dental nurse for 23 years and has been at this practice for just over 18 years. She enjoys working helping people and her experience means that she is used to dealing with every type of patient, including anxious ones.

Outside work, she enjoys time with her family and friends. She is a keen rugby fan, supporting London Wasps, and as former hurdler she is also keen on athletics.

Jane Jenkins

Jane initially joined the team at Cornerhouse Dental Practice as receptionist in July 2012.

Ever keen to learn new things and develop her career, Jane began training as a dental nurse in November 2012. She received her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in March 2014 and is now registering with the General Dental Council.
